Director, Actor, Teacher
I’m a New York City based director, teacher and actor. I have an MFA in Directing from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University (where I’m also a member of The Playwriting and Directing Workshop). I have a BFA from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. I am an adjunct professor at AMDA Conservatory, teaching Advance Scene Study classes as well as Audition Technique classes. As a Director, I’ve worked in Bergen, Norway where I directed a new Norwegian translation of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. Other directing credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at The Actors Theatre of Indiana. Curtains by Kander and Ebb at The Village Light Opera Group in NYC. Princess Ida and Iolanthe by Gilbert and Sullivan, at The Ridgewood Gilbert and Sullivan Opera. The U.S. Premiere of Prom Queen the Musical at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts as well as Guys and Dolls, Meet Me in St Louis and Brigadoon. The world premiere of a new play Where a Certain Future by James Howard Carr at Northern Michigan University I’m a recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Director Award for directing Wimberley at The Mid-town International Theatre Festival. As an actor, I toured Europe in the European Tour of Hair and performed at the Kennedy Center Gala with Elaine Stritch and Marvin Hamlisch. I’m an associate member of SDC and a proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA.
